Founder & Managing Director
As captain of the TIN team, Greg’s dedication and passion for the technology sector led him to establish Technology Investment Network (TIN) in 1999. Under his direction, the TIN Report has enjoyed growing recognition and influence since its inception in 2005. Greg oversees the report content each year. A well-known figure in the high-tech sector, Greg’s background includes a decade working in marketing management roles for Fisher & Paykel (in NZ and the US). His in-depth industry knowledge is underpinned by his role as co-founder and MD of high-tech medical device company Veriphi.
Research & Operations Manager
Deanne is primarily responsible for TIN’s research analysis and publications. She manages the content development and delivery of the TIN Report from concept to launch; including report writing, editing and wrangling the TIN team. For the past two years she has also managed production of The Investor’s Guide to the New Zealand Technology Sector, working with MBIE. She has held strategic marketing management positions with organisations such as ANZ Bank, Sky City and Canon and worked as a communications consultant in New Zealand & Australia.
Hugh’s advanced quantitative analysis skills are well utilised in his role as TIN’s data analyst and researcher. His role encompasses the collection, organisation, and analysis of data used in all TIN publications. He is also integral to consulting projects, external communication, and most other areas of TIN’s operations.
Hugh is a Coffee addict in denial.
Luka brings great value to the team with his analytical aptitude, attention to detail, communication skills, and sexy eyebrow scar (don’t ask how he got it). He works on consulting projects and provides data analysis, writing, and editing skills for the TIN100 Report and other published material.
Luka claims his joke fund consistently outperforms, it doesn’t.
Daryn recently joined Team TIN with a focus on data collection and expanding our New Zealand tech startups database for 2017. He is a valuable contributor to Early Stage Company qualitative analysis.
A new addition to the team, Mihnea’s interests are in finance and economics. He is helping to research and analyse the performance of our TIN companies this year.
Mihnea is an amateur restaurant critic in his spare time.
Marketing & Events Manager
Ashley’s focus is to serve the TIN community by devising and organising high quality events and networking opportunities. She is also responsible for broadening the reach and interaction of the TIN community through marketing, branding and social media. She has worked in various roles within the IT sector in the US & NZ.
With a wealth of PR experience in the UK, Kate joined the TIN team to manage media and publicity for TIN100 Report launches and other prominent publication releases and events.
An accomplished accounts manager and register housing valuer, Mick is in charge of the accounts and administration function at TIN.
