Mike was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare from November 2001 to March 2016. He was General Manager of Fisher & Paykel’s medical division from 1990 to 2001 and previously held various technical management and product design roles within the company.
Mike is a director of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited, Cochlear Limited, Tait International Limited and the Medical Research Commercialisation Fund.
Sir Michael was named a Knight Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit in June 2021.

Trimax Mowing Systems
Michael Sievwright is the CEO of Trimax Mowing Systems, which designs, manufactures, and distributes commercial mowing equipment worldwide. He held various roles locally and internationally and acquired significant experience through his in-market development of Trimax’s global business.
Michael is Chair of Machines at Work, an AgTech startup developing an automation platform focused on the challenging viticulture and horticulture operational environment.
He also serves as a board member for the Bay of Plenty Youth Development Trust and is a member of the ExportNZ Bay of Plenty Committee.
