We’ve had a fantastic response to our 2021 TIN survey with a record number of completed surveys received after just two weeks! As detailed in our last TINWire, we’ve made some subtle changes to the way we’re doing things this year which will deliver even better results, both for TIN and the companies we survey.

This year’s annual tech export survey will give us the biggest indicator of the sector's performance and growth during the challenges of last year, and we’re excited to bring you even more meaningful, insightful and compelling data with enhanced definitions and categorisation. Early indicators are that we can expect some big changes across the sector – but all will be revealed at the TIN Report launch later in the year.

In the next few hours, you’ll have a unique opportunity to hear more about the progress of the agritech sector with a virtual discussion around the recently-published 2021 New Zealand Agritech Insights Report. The report was officially launched at Fieldays last month, but this is your chance to take part in a deeper discussion with our panel of agritech experts, including Eleshea D'Souza from LIC; Dean Tilyard from Finistere Ventures; Jason Wargent from BioLumic; Leila Deljkovic from Cropsy; Brendan Mahar from NZTE; and Dylan Hughes from UBCO.

We’ll look at the growth of the sector, its rising stars, barriers to growth, and new areas of innovation, as well as how the Government’s Industry Transformation Plan is working for the agritech sector.

If you haven’t already registered, do so here but get in quick! We’ll be starting shortly at 10am.
