What a dazzling Labour Weekend it was! I trust everyone made the most of the good weather to get out and enjoy what we all love about our country. It’s an opportune time to draw breath and pause before we face the final phase of 2020 and reflect on what an unprecedented year it’s been.

Despite the upheaval of recent months, the tech sector is in good shape. Pacific Edge has notched up another milestone with its recent addition to the S&P/NZX Indices. It’s very rewarding news for the committed staff and loyal shareholders of this Dunedin-based cancer diagnostics company which has been on the TIN200 list every year since 2015.

It’s been a year of firsts for many: Christchurch-based Seequent – global leaders in geoscience software – has just staged its first-ever completely virtual conference attracting an audience of more than 4,000 to explore how technology and connection are transforming the ways we live and work.

We’ll be following hot on their heels with our first-ever virtual TIN Report launch and awards taking place next month. Tech Pulse 2020 is a three-day, interactive online event, bringing together NZ's tech leaders for panel discussions, presentations, roundtables, and networking, as we reflect on and celebrate all that we’ve achieved during this challenging year. Sign up now!

Kia kaha.
